Artwork at UWMC

They have quite a collection of art at the hospital. I've never seen anything like it.

The view from the backyard

It has to be one of the beautiful back yard views I have ever seen. It is Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.

Pictures of the Cyclotron

It spins completely around me while I lay on the table in front of it. They radiate me from the top, sides, and bottom. The blue cast was made of my legs to hold them in the same place every time. The machine projects a laser image of the radioactive field on my body and it is lined up with permanent tattoo marks.

My sister is in town

She arrived on an Amtrak train today around 4:30. I don't get to see her much since she lives in Oregon. It will be nice to have her company over the next week.

I underwent another treatment today, nothing to remark about just another day in the office. It only takes about 20 min and it has gotten quite routine now. I'm going to try and get some shots of the machine they use, it's called a cyclotron.

Seattle

Is quite a diverse city. With mountains and the ocean bordering the city it has some breathtaking scenery. The weather is amazing for August, mid to high 70s. The people here are definitely more diverse than in Tulsa. Lots of tattoos, full arms, back, neck, and facial tattoos unlike what you would see in Oklahoma. One of my favorite sights was when my Dad and I were walking to the Mariners game on Saturday. There are quite a few panhandlers, but one had a sign "Need Money 4 Weed". I thought it was so funny I took a picture with my phone. I also gave him some change, telling him that I appreciated his honesty.

I really do like the city, but I still will be happy to return to a little more boring and lot hotter city named Tulsa, OK.
