Amy, This is an awesome blog...well done! I have a blog on my son Mark who is 46 and has metastasis to the liver from a esophageal-gastric tumor that disappeared after radiation. He also has a couple of new tumor sites. He is on SSDI and has to wait two years from the start of SSDI to get medicare. The only people who don't have to wait for medicare are those with Lou Gherigs Disease and Kidney dialysis. Has the Livestrong group considered lobbying for medicare benefits immediately for cancer victims who get on SSDI?
Mark's blog is http://thenextadventure.blogspot.com/
