New Favorite Quote

I've received some great inspirational e-mails from my fellow survivors. One had a quote that I would like to share with everyone:

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to
what lies within us. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

And not to forget, Happy St. Patricks Day!! If I was feeling better I'd be sharing a pint with my Dad at Arnies right now. It'll have to wait a week or so, but it'll only taste sweeter.

Ugh last week of chemo misery

Yesterday was the last dose of chemo, and I've started feeling the side affects already. I get hot flashes at night (I have new empathy for all menopausal women) and my stomach just doesn't feel right it's kind of hard to explain. The nausea medicine they give me does a really good job keeping me from getting sick, I just feel "punchy" throughout the week after my dose.

At least this is my last week of recovery from the chemo.

Today was my last day of chemo!!!

I went in for my last push of Adria today! I am so excited to have
made it through this regimen. I'm ready to get serious about reaching
my fundraising and cycling goals in preparation for the RFTR. Life is
good.

Getting the word out

I made Jim Gilliam's blog. He's one of the people behind the documentary film Outfoxed. I sent him an e-mail with my comments regarding the bankruptcy bill. I read his blog almost daily for his insight in todays politics. I think it's pretty awesome that he posted about me, my site, and my blog.

Check out his blog today!
